Copy only what you need

Select the useful text in the source app and copy it. You may need to copy separate responses individually, depending on the app. Smart Printer App does not connect to your chat account or import an entire conversation automatically.

Read the material before printing it. A neat page does not make an answer accurate. Check quantities in a recipe, references in study notes and any instruction with a safety consequence.

Make it readable on paper

  1. Open Text in Smart Printer App.
  2. Paste the copied content into the editor.
  3. Add a short title and remove repeated introductions or text you do not need.
  4. Adjust the text size and spacing for comfortable reading.
  5. Inspect the page preview, including the final page.
  6. Print to a compatible printer.

Keep the layout simple for checklists and instructions. A readable heading and a blank line between steps usually help more than elaborate formatting.

When a PDF is the better choice

Tables, equations and complex code blocks may not survive copying as ordinary text. If their exact layout matters, prepare the document in an editor and export a PDF instead. Import that PDF through Smart Printer App’s Documents option.

For recipes or workshop instructions, check that a step has not been separated from the measurements it needs. If the type becomes very small, let the document use another page rather than making it harder to follow.

Keep the useful part

A paper copy works best when it has a clear purpose: the shopping list for this meal, the outline for this lesson, the instructions for this repair. Removing unrelated text makes the result easier to use.

You do not need a special integration for every app you copy from. If the source lets you copy usable text, the same paste-and-preview workflow can help turn it into a page.
